Videolineusa is a full-service video production company based in the United States, specialising in corporate video, commercials, and branded content. They had a solid portfolio, a competitive website, and were investing in SEO — but the creative production market is notoriously saturated, and traditional organic growth was slow and expensive.

When Innotek first approached them about AI discoverability, their response was typical of the creative industry: "AI search isn't relevant to what we do." They assumed AI assistants only recommended tech products and SaaS tools, not creative service providers.

They were wrong — and the data proved it within 30 days.

Videolineusa's initial GEO audit scored a D grade. The site had strong visual content — showreels, portfolio pieces, high-quality imagery — but almost nothing that an AI agent could read. No structured data, no schema markup, and critically low Fact Density (score: 8). The content was emotionally compelling for human visitors but contained very few verifiable, citable claims.

Their Entity Clarity was 4/10. AI agents could determine they were a video company, but couldn't reliably extract their specialisations, pricing model, service areas, or differentiators. The portfolio spoke volumes visually but was silent to machines.

The implementation

What we did — week by week

Week 1
Organization & Service schema
Deployed Organization JSON-LD with service offerings, area served, founding year, and team size. Added individual Service schema for each production type: corporate video, commercials, branded content, event coverage.
Week 2
Fact-dense service pages
Restructured service pages to include specific deliverables, typical project timelines, starting prices, equipment used, and example client outcomes. Fact Density jumped from 8 to 24.
Week 3
Portfolio annotation & llms.txt
Added structured metadata to portfolio items: client industry, project scope, deliverables, and measurable outcomes. Deployed llms.txt with a comprehensive content directory.
Week 4
Token optimization pass
Ran a token optimization pass across key pages, reducing filler content by 20% while increasing information density. Every sentence now earned its token budget.
We didn't think AI search was relevant to our industry. Innotek proved us wrong within a month. We're now winning projects from clients who say they found us through ChatGPT — that's a sentence I never expected to say about a video production company.

The results

Impact after 30 days

Within the first month, Videolineusa recorded over 60 AI citations across ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity for queries related to video production services. Content token efficiency improved by 20%, and the GEO grade moved from D to B+. Most importantly, inbound pipeline value increased by 45%, with AI-referred leads showing significantly higher intent than those from traditional channels.

The Fact Density score tripled from 8 to 24, and Entity Clarity rose from 4/10 to 8/10. The site was no longer a portfolio that machines couldn't read — it was a structured, fact-dense resource that AI agents actively recommended.

Key insight

Creative industries are massively underserved in AI search. Most competitors in the video production space have zero structured data, which means the barrier to becoming the AI-recommended option is lower than in tech or e-commerce. First-mover advantage in GEO is real — and Videolineusa claimed it.
